The cottage exceeded all our expectations, with a cozy fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen that made us feel right at home. the atmosphere around the cottage was peaceful, and we loved being able to see the horses and the beautiful pig on the property. The location was perfect, close enough to town for convenience yet with a rural feel that provided a quiet escape. We enjoyed walks to nearby landmarks like Solomon's Temple and appreciated the supermarket within walking distance. Our daughter, who is usually never hot, even had to turn the heating down - a testament to how warm and comfortable the cottage was. The personal touch of Christmas decorations, including a beautifully lit tree, made our stay even more special. We felt welcomed by the owner, Dave, who was attentive and responsive to any needs we had. the attention to detail in the cottage, from the comfortable bed with a thick duvet to the free WiFi and kitchen amenities, truly made our stay memorable. As a lover of good beer, I highly recommend visiting the Buxton Tap House and the Cheshire Cheese pub, both offering a great selection of ales. the nearby Octagon Theatre is also worth a visit for entertainment. Overall, Fern Farm Cottages provided a wonderful retreat for our family, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.
